POLICIES & HELPFUL DETAILS

Our thanks! We are honored to work with you to bring deliciously vibrant teas to your customers. Please read each section below and feel free to reach out to us with any questions. By signing the New Account Setup Form, you are acknowledging our policies as explained below.

TEA SELECTION:

As an artisanal agricultural product, our teas are subject to seasonality. They are also produced throughout the year to maintain optimum freshness and the best possible product for your customers. Therefore, selection and availability may vary from time to time, and pricing is subject to change.

LEAD TIME:

The lead time for shipping an order can be up to two business days. Special orders or specially packaged teas (like our 2oz sizes for retail in your shop environment) may require additional time to prepare before shipping.

SHIPPING:
  • UPS Ground is our typical shipment method (chosen for both reliability and affordability). Please note that UPS does NOT move packages on the weekend (see below).
  • Order Cutoff: Most orders placed before 12:00pm CST will dispatch same-day; for orders received after 12:00pm CST, we promise our best effort to dispatch same-day but cannot promise that this is always possible. Orders received after 12:00pm CST on Friday will typically not dispatch until the next business day, namely Monday.
  • Late-week orders: We encourage our wholesale partners to establish a regular day, early in the week, to check stock as part of the morning routine and place orders. For example, an order placed on Monday dispatching to anywhere in the contiguous United States can be received by Friday at the very latest (lead time plus maximum typical transit time). However, an order placed at 4:00pm on Thursday will not be fulfilled until Friday afternoon/evening, and this package would not effectively begin transit (via UPS) until Monday, resulting in an Wednesday arrival after two days transit (for example). This inevitably feels like a long delay (Thursday to the following Wednesday), and we would like for you to always receive your teas in a timely fashion and to avoid running out of stock.
PAYMENT TERMS:

A valid credit card is required for your opening order, and subsequent orders may be placed with Net 30 terms. If you are a member of a business group in current good standing, pre-payment for the initial order may be waived.

PAST DUE INVOICES:

We kindly ask that you make every effort to respectfully pay each invoice on time. We do, however, understand that businesses face unforeseen circumstances. If you need more time to pay an invoice, please do not hesitate to reach out to us and we will find a solution that works for you.

We are honored to work with you. Thank you for all you do & welcome to the TEEMA family.
